Pen camera spy cam - more memory??
The covert surveillance market is currently flooded with pen cameras. There are a few different versions of this excellent spy camera out there at the moment.
One of the confusing aspects when choosing which one to purchase is whether the pen camera has an internal memory of 4G or 8G etc - it may sound like a great idea to pay more money and get loads more memory space but it is worth thinking about the fact that currently they all use the same size battery!
This means that whatever storage space your pen camera has it’s still going to run out of life at the same time, when the battery runs out you will need to recharge via the USB port of your PC or laptop. If you’re connecting it to a PC for recharging then at the same time you can delete the footage that you no longer need - so this pretty much makes paying more for double the memory a bit pointless….
This may all change in the future if one of the manufacturers can supply loads of memory alongside a longer life battery all encased inside a pen - watch this space, we will be!
