New features for 2.4GHz wireless night vision camera

Our wireless 2.4GHz, CCD,  infrared night vision camera has been improved with 2 new features.

3 new features if you include the revamped bullet style shape of this weatherproof, wireless camera.  The 2.4GHz wirefree camera still comes with a bracket, mount and a visor but it now has a channel selector switch.

The channel selector switch means that you have more chance of being able to avoid interference problems on the busy 2.4GHz frequency – from 2.4GHz wireless broadband etc.  It also means that if you already run 2.4GHz wireless cameras you can now just select a 2.4GHz channel that is free (there are the standard 4 channels available).

The second and arguably the more important of the 2 new features for this wireless night vision camera is that it is now fitted with a standard SMA 2.4GHz antenna fitting – this means that you can try to boost your wireless camera range by attaching a higher gain antenna, or you could even go a step further by running an antenna extension cable and removing obstructions from the “wireless camera to wireless receiver” line.

All in all, 2 good new improvements to our wireless infrared camera.
